How does the system work?

The measurement is based on precise X-ray technology. The DENSITYPROFILER IL continuously scans the density distribution across the plate thickness – at multiple positions if required. The DENSITYPROFILER in the laboratory measures samples contactlessly, automatically and in high resolution. Both systems can be networked via interfaces – for consistent quality assurance.

To determine the density distribution across the cross-section of the sample thickness, the sample holder with the samples is guided through the measuring system using a linear slide.
