How close to the limit is your production?

Even the smallest deviations in formaldehyde cost time, material and trust. GASANALYSER systems detect critical values at an early stage – with real-time analysis or classic laboratory testing, depending on the application.

Two ways to ensure reliable emission control

Laboratory solutions:

GASANALYSER: Classic laboratory approach with wet chemical analysis – proven, robust, but manual.

GASANALYSER SL: Extension to the GA – replaces wet chemistry with automated laser measurement in the sample gas stream.

GASANALYSER MC:Standalone rapid test system – measures directly in a microchamber within 15 minutes, without any chemicals.

All three laboratory solutions are designed for precise quality control – whether for approval tests, internal standards or testing requirements.

Inline monitoring:

GASANALYSER IL detects trends directly in the ongoing process – in a matter of seconds and without sampling. The system is mounted on the extraction system, for example, and supplements laboratory analysis with continuous monitoring. This allows deviations to be detected at an early stage and processes to be adjusted immediately.

GASANALYSER Simple Lab (SL) – Formaldehyde measurement made simple

Maximum precision in any environment

GASANALYSER SL measures formaldehyde emissions in accordance with ISO 12460-3:2023 (perforator method) and CARB specifications. It is used worldwide for legally binding limit value testing – without the need for traditional wet chemistry. Thanks to automated processes, the quality of the results remains consistently high.

Precision meets efficiency

The laboratory solution without wet chemistry

Conventional formaldehyde measurements are complex, partially manual processes that are therefore prone to errors and time-consuming. The GreCon GASANALYSER SL offers an innovative, chemical-free alternative that minimises laboratory work while ensuring maximum accuracy.

Combining state-of-the-art laser spectroscopy with a fully automated measurement process, the GASANALYSER SL delivers complete test results in just 4 hours – without chemical post-processing and without additional personnel.

The low requirements for the laboratory environment make the GSANALYSER SL the ideal choice for companies that want to optimise their quality control. Whether in research or production-related quality control, the SL adapts flexibly to any laboratory requirement.

In addition, the SL can be used as an upgrade for existing GASANALYSER models, transforming your existing system into the next generation of formaldehyde measurement..

Advantages

  • Compliant with all common standards
  • Globally recognised industry standard
  • Automatic test sequence
  • No wet chemistry required
  • Robust hardware for laboratory environments

GASANALYSER MC – Formaldehyde determination in record time

GreCon GASANALYSER MC delivers accurate formaldehyde values – without wet chemistry, with maximum precision and efficiency. CARB-certified and ideal for laboratories.

When every second counts – maximum performance for specialised laboratories

In specialised laboratories, time is of the essence when it comes to efficiency. The GreCon GASANALYSER MC delivers accurate results in just 15 minutes, enabling faster and more precise control of production processes. Thanks to the combination of a microchamber and state-of-the-art infrared laser spectroscopy, GASANALYSER MC enables unprecedented measurement speeds in the laboratory environment – without the use of wet chemistry and time-consuming post-processing.

The test conditions require a controlled environment, which is why the GASANALYZER MC has been specially optimised for air-conditioned laboratories with precise temperature control. This is where it really comes into its own: maximum speed, maximum precision, uncompromising quality. The GASANALYSER MC is not only a high-end solution for formaldehyde measurement, but also a milestone for laboratories that demand the highest standards of efficiency and accuracy.

Mounted directly on the climate chamber, the GASANALYSER MC delivers accurate formaldehyde emission values within 15 minutes – ideal for quick decisions and immediate corrections after production.

Detailed product information

Like our GASANALYSER SL, the heart of the GASANALYSER MC is a state-of-the-art infrared laser analyser that enables emission tests to be carried out fully automatically and without the use of chemicals. The tests are performed at 25 °C (passively controlled by the ambient temperature) and 50 % humidity (actively controlled) in just 15 minutes per sample. At the same time, the device is very easy to operate via the touch panel.

A laser infrared analyser is used to measure the optical absorption of the formaldehyde released. The measuring principle is as follows:

  • A laser LED generates infrared laser light, which is directed through an optical cell.
  • The laser cell is flushed with the test gas from the test chamber.
  • Part of the light is extinguished by the formaldehyde in the test gas.
  • The detector recognises the proportion of light that is missing and can use this to calculate the exact amount of formaldehyde in the measurement gas.

  • Fast: Accurate test results in 15 minutes
  • Precise: Fewer errors thanks to laser technology
  • Cost-effective: No wet chemistry, no post-processing, minimal effort

GASANALYSER IL – Inline formaldehyde measurement

Reliable measurements during ongoing production for the first time: GASANALYSER IL detects fluctuations at an early stage and enables targeted adjustments – for stable quality and lower costs.

Inline measurement – the decisive advantage for your production

With GASANALYSER IL, GreCon takes formaldehyde measurement to a whole new level! For the first time, manufacturers receive measurement values for formaldehyde emissions during ongoing production – giving them a decisive advantage. Instead of waiting for laboratory results, the IL provides continuous trend analyses in real time – directly from the process air at the extraction point, for example at the diagonal saw.

It measures continuously and detects peaks outside defined tolerance ranges. This allows fluctuations to be detected at an early stage and production processes to be adjusted in a targeted manner – even before a faulty batch is produced. The trend data is based on automatically generated measurement cycles and is immediately available – for control, documentation and optimisation of the pressing process.

The GASANALYSER IL is the perfect complement to the laboratory-based devices in the GASANALYSER product range. While the GASANALYSER MC delivers laboratory analyses with the highest precision, the GASANALYSER IL saves time – through responsiveness in the ongoing process.

It can be easily integrated into existing process structures and strengthens emission control in the long term: for less waste, greater efficiency and maximum process reliability.

The integration of the GASANALYSER IL into existing systems, such as the extraction system on the diagonal saw, enables continuous emission monitoring. Instead of random samples, a complete picture is created – continuously. This provides manufacturers with an effective tool for process stabilisation, quality assurance and resource conservation.

The GASANALYSER IL complements existing laboratory solutions such as the GASANALYSER MC with a fast, inline-capable component. While the MC delivers maximum measurement precision, the IL impresses with its reaction speed and permanent trend monitoring.

  • Real-time detection
Measures deviations directly in the process – long before laboratory values are available.

  • Process control in the production line
Continuously and reliably displays emission peaks and fluctuations.

  • Efficiency boost for your production
Reduces material losses and waste by responding to malfunctions at an early stage.

  • Continuous trend analysis
Permanently records changes – for better control and sustainable compliance.

“With the GASANALYSER IL, we are making it possible for the first time to detect emission deviations during ongoing production and take targeted countermeasures.”Dr Manuel Fleisch, Product Manager for the GASANALYSER product range, Fagus-GreCon
