Google AdSense (non-personalised)

This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating advertisements. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use Google AdSense in “non-personalised” mode. In contrast to the personalised mode, advertisements are not based on your previous user behaviour and no user profile is created. The selected advertisements are then based, for example, on your location, the content of the website you are visiting or your current search terms. More information on the differences between personalised and non-personalised targeting with Google AdSense can be found at: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9007336.

Please note that even when using Google AdSense in non-personalised mode, cookies or similar recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting) may be used. According to Google, these are used to combat fraud and misuse.

The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR and s. 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

This information is used to create conversion statistics. These tell us the total number of users who have clicked on our adverts and what actions they have taken. We do not receive any information that enables us to personally identify the user. Google itself uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification purposes.

Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel)

This website uses the visitor action pixel from Meta to measure conversions. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Meta, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

In this way, the behaviour of site visitors can be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Meta ad. This allows the effectiveness of Meta ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimised.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we are unable to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta so that a connection to the respective user profile on Facebook or Instagram is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Meta Data Usage Policy (https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/). This allows Meta to enable advertisements to be placed on Facebook or Instagram pages and other advertising channels. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the website operator.

The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR and s. 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

Insofar as personal data is collected on our website with the help of the tool described here and forwarded to Meta, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). The joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of data and its transfer to Meta. The processing carried out by Meta after forwarding is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent on us jointly were set out in an agreement on joint processing. The text of the agreement can be found at https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing the data protection information when using the Meta tool and for the secure implementation of the tool on our website in accordance with data protection law. Meta is responsible for the data security of Meta products. You may assert data subject rights (e.g. requests for information) regarding the data processed by Facebook or Instagram directly with Meta. If you assert your data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Meta.

Should you not have a Facebook or Instagram account, you may opt out of Meta’s usage-based advertising on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

The company is certified in accordance with the “EU-US Data Privacy Framework” (DPF). LinkedIn Insight Tag

This website uses LinkedIn Insight Tag. The provider of this service is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Data processing by LinkedIn Insight Tag

With the help of the LinkedIn Insight Tag, we receive information about visitors to our website. If a website visitor is registered with LinkedIn, we can, among other things, analyse the key professional data (e.g. career level, company size, country, location, industry and job title) of our website visitors, thereby better aligning our site to the respective target groups. We can also use LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure whether visitors to our websites make a purchase or take another action (conversion measurement). Conversion measurement can also be carried out across devices (e.g. from PC to tablet). LinkedIn Insight Tag also offers a retargeting function that we can use to display targeted advertising outside the website to visitors to our website; according to LinkedIn, no identification of the advertising addressee takes place when doing so.

LinkedIn itself also records so-called log files (URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser properties and time of access). The IP addresses are shortened or (if they are used to reach LinkedIn members across devices) hashed (pseudonymised). The direct identifiers of LinkedIn members are deleted by LinkedIn after seven days. The remaining pseudonymised data will then be deleted within 180 days.

The data collected by LinkedIn cannot be assigned to specific individuals by us as the website operator. LinkedIn stores the personal data collected from website visitors on its servers in the USA and uses it for its own advertising purposes. Details can be found in LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/dpa and https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/eu-sccs.

The company is certified in accordance with the “EU-US Data Privacy Framework” (DPF). You may revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the cancellation.

The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter or after the purpose no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block email addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR.

Data stored by us for other purposes shall remain unaffected by this.

After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR). YouTube with enhanced data protection

This website embeds videos from YouTube. The operator of the website is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

When you visit one of these websites on which YouTube is embedded, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You may prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

We use YouTube in enhanced data protection mode. According to YouTube, videos that are played in enhanced data protection mode are not used to personalise browsing on YouTube. Ads that are displayed in enhanced data protection mode are also not personalised. No cookies are set in enhanced data protection mode. Inclusion in the applicant pool is based exclusively on your express consent (Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR). The submission of consent is voluntary and is not related to the current application process. The data subject may withdraw their consent at any time. In this case, the data shall be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool, provided there are no legal grounds for retention.

The data from the applicant pool shall be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been granted.
