New machine technologies, innovative materials and the latest trends in edge processing will take center stage at the REHAU Edgeband Symposium 2026. Fagus-GreCon will showcase how modern edge inspection works today – live in the production process with GreCon EDGEINSPECT.

On March 12, the REHAU Edgeband Symposium in Lübbecke will bring together machinery expertise, material competence and practical know-how focused on edge processing. Through live demonstrations and technical presentations, participants will gain direct insights into current technologies and solutions for industrial furniture production.

Fagus-GreCon will be on site with its measurement technology, presenting GreCon EDGEINSPECT in real operation – not in a laboratory environment, but fully integrated into the process chain.

The laser-based 3D edge inspection system is directly integrated into an IMA Schelling production line, inspecting edges during ongoing production.

EDGEINSPECT redefines edge inspection. The laser-based 3D control system detects edge defects with precision – even where camera-based systems reach their physical limits. For GreCon, one thing is clear: this is where reproducible quality is determined.

Independent of decors, surfaces or lighting conditions, the system delivers reliable measurement data to ensure consistently high edge quality and stable process control.
