Summary

The fire trap is an additional element of the GreCon Spark Extinguishing System. In case of an alarm, the fire trap closes a transport duct mechanically.

Specifications

  • Area of application: negative and positive pressure ducts, suitable for corrosive media and for use in the food industry
  • Material: steel, stainless steel on request
  • Release: electropneumatially via control console
  • Drive: pneumatic drive by air cylinder, incl. protective grating
  • Closing time: 0.1 to 0.4 s, depending on nominal width
  • Compressed air supply: 4 to 6 bar, to be provided by the customer
  • Control: automatic release via control console, closure of the transport system upon release of the fire trap
