Anniversary Celebration in a Living Monument

Alfeld, Lower Saxony – On Friday, 23 August 2024, employees, former staff, partners, friends and international colleagues from the subsidiary companies gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the GreCon brand. A marquee was erected against the impressive backdrop of the historic Fagus Factory, allowing over 400 guests to enjoy an unforgettable evening. The celebration was marked by a cheerful and lively atmosphere, and musical entertainment was provided by the band Valendras.

The celebrations were opened with a warm welcome by the founders Ernst and Gerd Greten, who welcomed all guests and expressed their joy and great pride in the 50th anniversary of the GreCon brand. Words of thanks followed to all those involved, including partners and friends who have contributed to the success of the GreCon brand. They then looked back on the company's impressive history - characterised by milestones in fire protection and measuring technology. They emphasised the continuous innovative strength that has characterised GreCon over the decades and continues to set cross-industry standards to this day.

The two managing directors, Mario Haas and Alexander Kuppe, then took the floor. Among other things, they expressed their respect for all those involved in this success story, ‘which began 50 years ago with an idea and plenty of pioneering spirit’.

The subsequent premiere of the image film, which was produced as part of the company's anniversary celebrations and will be released shortly, was also met with great applause. Building on its success story, the company is looking to the future as a global market and technology leader in order to continue setting standards in the future.
