Fagus-GreCon was awarded the "German Seal of Corporate Health" in gold as part of a recertification for its company health management (BGM). With a total of 80 points, the company from Alfeld was able to improve significantly compared to the first certification in 2019. Three years ago, Fagus-GreCon received the silver seal.

The seal was awarded by the BKK main organization and presented by the inspector Marion Schummer and Dirk Stillert from BKK Technoform during an informative meeting.

For Head of Human Resources Melanie Gödeke and Managing Director Uwe Kahmann, the gold certification is an incentive to continue on the path they have chosen: "Thanks to the BGM team and everyone who promotes the topic of corporate health. We want to take further measures so that Fagus-GreCon is and remains an interesting, modern and caring employer for our current and future employees."

In addition to general key figures, such as the number of accidents at work and the number of sick days, the evaluation on which the seal is based also included the employees' view of company health management. In addition, the company had to prove the numerous BGM activities it had carried out.

Employees' views were determined as part of an anonymous survey, which could be completed both online and on paper. The data was evaluated by TU Chemnitz.

The evaluation by TU Chemnitz clearly showed the areas in which the company had improved. Compared to the industry average, Fagus-GreCon has fewer sick days and far fewer accidents at work.

The handling of the pandemic situation should also be emphasized. With clear processes, constant information on the internal protection concept and more flexible health offers, the vast majority of employees perceived the company as well prepared. The work-life balance has also improved compared to 2019.

In addition, the process behind the seal has shown how well company health management is already anchored and implemented in the company. In addition, it became clear in which areas there is potential for improvement.
