Fagus-GreCon top employer in mechanical engineering

In a nationwide evaluation Fagus-GreCon occupies fourth place. "With this evaluation, the online magazine MaschinenMarkt wanted to give young people a first orientation in the selection of their future training company. There are almost 7,000 machine builders in Germany and we are in 4th place - we are very happy about that", says Melanie Gödeke, Human Resources Manager Fagus-GreCon.

The assessment of employers is based on criteria such as salary, working atmosphere or career opportunities.
"Personnel development and training are very important topics for us," Gödeke emphasizes. The company is currently training 19 mechatronics engineers, 5 industrial clerks and 2 specialists for warehouse logistics. The trainees pass through all departments of the company and are taught the basics of electronics and mechanics in the company's own training workshop. "The best thing about Fagus-GreCon is the working atmosphere and the cohesion among the co-trainees. It is simply fun to come to work. For that I get a very good training. I am just happy to work here and to learn new skills from our young trainer, says Niklas Wittig, trainee at Fagus-GreCon.

Even after graduation Fagus-GreCon offers a wide range of further education programs to the employees. For example, the development program "Future Shaper" started about two years ago. A total of 23 employees from different departments participated in this program, which was successfully completed in mid September. In a modular training program, various topics were addressed, ranging from successful teamwork to lean management and the analysis of personal motivation factors. With this knowledge, the participants are well equipped to take on responsibility as managers or experts in the future.

"I can only encourage everyone to apply for training with us! Become part of an enthusiastic team and discover your chance with us. We will accompany you from your apprenticeship, through your studies, to your career start. Let us shape your future together! This is the plea of Tim Nehrig, trainer at Fagus-GreCon.
